COURSE Title: Problem Solving – Basic Quality Tools Used in Manufacturing
Business operations either from manufacturing or service sector exist in an environment of increasing challenge. Rising raw material & labour cost and the pressure from customer to deliver higher quality product/service faster at lower cost are just some of the key challenges which drive the need to seek operational improvement.
In today’s business, proven problem solving methodology for pursuing breakthrough or continuous improvement is critical in meeting customer satisfaction and organization profit growth. This includes revenue improvement, cost reduction, cycle time reduction, increased customer satisfaction and any other performance improvements critical to the company. Practically, some basic quality tools are used to solve problem effectively which directly improve operating efficiency. This course introduces the key basics and application examples of basic quality tools used in manufacturing, regardless of what parts/products to produce. This easy-to-follow course also includes step by step of how basic quality tools are applied in the process of determining what to measure and collect and to display the data for evaluation.
